General condition and any additional information
Your Cabin on the Water! This 1989 Hunter 27-2 sailboat has standing headroom throughout the cabin and an enclosed head (bathroom) all with a shoal draft keel (3’6”) that lets you fully explore the waters around you. The cabin has all the comforts needed including a full galley, comfortable U-shaped dinette seating and a two-person bed (with real mattress) in the aft berth (it sleeps up to 5 people). It has plenty of ventilation for hot summer months and is warm and comfortable for winter cruising (my favorite time). You can cruise the lake economically at 6-8mph using the 4 stroke electric start 8hp outboard (go from one end of the lake to the other on 3 gallons of gas) or very economically under sail at about the same speed using the newer (2018) set of sails. She is a very fast boat under sail winning many races and skipper of the year with the Southwinds Sailing club. Here are some videos from my short stint of recording the races (decided I just wanted to sail). https://youtu.be/1cCQSJ8G5Rc , https://youtu.be/RyUiVqj83qI . A very nice way to get out of the house!
Improvements to the hull, deck, rigging, engine, or interior
Newer (2018) sails, 8hp 4 stroke with electric start, depthfinder, updated rigging, bimini with newer (2019) top, cockpit cushions, real mattress in aft 2 person berth, standing headroom, enclosed head, full galley.
