Beneteau Idylle 1050
Island Girl ll
Island Girl ll sails very well in open water off shore as well as on larger inland lakes. Although it has been on an inland lake since 2007 it comes equipped for off shore sailing. This boat performs very well and handles nicely for its size even in heavy wind and seas. It is very comfortable on extended cruises or just on weekends. Overnight accommodations for 4 are easily doable and weekending with six works. The spacious cockpit handles 6 for on deck meals and the dinette in main cabin easily sits 6 during inclement weather. The raised dodger over the companion way allows for easy and protected access from down below to the deck and vice-versa while staying dry during the worst of it.
According to the marine survey: Both structurally and cosmetically the vessel has with stood the test of time. The vessel was well built originally and has obviously been well maintained over the ensuing years.
The owner has long since been retired and is no longer able to use Island Girl ll as often as it should. It is only fair that it should be owned by others who are in a position to use and enjoy as it should be.
