General condition and any additional information
I am the second owner of this boat. It is for sale since my crew (wife) wants a motorboat and I am unable to physically single hand her. It has been lightly used by the first owner and myself, particularly in the last 8 years. The motor has less than 400 hours. The following is the generic summary of the boat.
The MacGregor 26M model is a very versatile boat that not only sails but can double as a powerboat, with its Evinrude E-Tec 60 HP outboard engine with power thruster, which can go 20 mph. The cabin is very roomy for a small boat and can sleep 4 easily, ideal for a small family or a couple. There are cushions for different configurations in cockpit and down below. The bottom has been protected with an ablative antifouling paint coating, and a new unused dagger board from Ruddercraft. The trailer is a load rite 5star dual axle trailer, with surge braking.
This boat will serve you well for many years and being trailed affords you the ability to see new places and adventures.
If the buyer is a resident of Grosse Pointe Woods, dock space reserved (slip 42) GPW Lakefront park for 2025.
