This boat just recently came back from an extended cruise in the Bahamas and has been hauled out for regular hull inspection and bottom paint. This boat is completely ready to sail to the islands again. This is a unique and one of a kind opportunity to own a proven blue water vessel. Designed by Pierre Meunier the 44 has a classic hull that the June 1981 issue of Cruising World described as a “sturdy and pretty boat that will stand out in any crowd of modern cruising boats.” As a further review in 2011 issue of Cruising wold states, Now 30 years later, it’s still true and I suspect anyone you talk to will say holds true today. This boat has been upgraded and amenities added like the full cockpit hardtop that make it that much better and functional for long distance sailing or live-aboard.
