Boat Location: Waxahachie, Texas.
This is a very lightly used and probably a quite rare Sprint 750 MKI given its great condition. From the photos you can see how clean the hulls are and the interior. I bought the boat from a California dealer in 2012 and I was told the owner had only sailed it once ….. and it looked like it had. It was not named or numbered. Before I purchased it the dealer provided me a letter of condition in which he stated “the boat is in exceptionally clean condition with few issues and only minor blemishes, the motor condition is very good and the trailer is “as new” condition”. Since I got it and with all good intentions I expected to use it often. However that was not the case with elbow and shoulder injuries and surgery preventing me from sailing and now I am letting her go. This has meant she has been on the lake quite infrequently and if I were to guess I would say maybe I’ve used her 15 times and certainly less than 20 - and these are only 3 or 4 hours trips on the lake - NO saltwater Therefore she has had light use and of course little stress and wear and tear. If not for some spider cracks, which is a common condition of gel-coating, it would look near new condition. Always stored out of the water on a boatlift or the trailer. The trailer, which has hydraulic inertia disc brakes, was used to deliver the boat to me in TX from CA and it has been used 4 times since so very few miles. The motor runs great. New electrical system battery.
All the sails have little exposure to the elements and it has a spinnaker that I’ve never used. The Main and Jib sails are UK Tape-Drive and have recently been sent to the UK sailmaker loft in Kemah, TX for renewing to assure they are in great condition, a $2,000 cost.
The cabin interior is very clean, we have never used it as we only day-sail. Also included are the 4 supports for cleaning the hulls. If you are new to sailing or do not know about this trimaran then this boat is fast and agile ….. like a Ferrari vs Crown Vic LOL, you will be one of the fastest on the water. It is quite easy to single-handed sail. For those that do not like it when a mono-hull heels in the wind white-knuckling they will much prefer this trimarran - rather than heel a lot it picks up speed and theres nothing like skipping over the waves.
I have short videos of sailing that I might be able to send.
