The Pearson 323 is a sloop rig with a fin keel, skeg rudder and keel stepped mast. Designed by Bill Shaw with comfort being a key consideration, she is practical and with the Pearson quality of construction, she is a great boat for coastal cruising, day sailing or longer adventures. In sail away condition, this very popular cruiser has a Yanmar 3GM Diesel 2002, great interior cushions 2002, barrier coated 2002, basic electronics Radar, VHF radio, GPS, depth sounder, compass on a binnacle, bimini, dodger, whisker pole, Life Sling, boom vang, radar reflector, Bruce anchor 75 chain 150 rode, fenders, hot cold pressured water and full marine head. Battened Mainsail and 150 Genoa with furler. Total of 5 sails and 3 winches, rigged for single-handed sailing.
The 61 cabin which sleeps 5 has a nice galley with ice box, alcohol stove and pressured hot cold water sink on the port-side aft. To starboard aft there is a chart
table, book shelf and storage locker. Going forward on the starboard side there is a nice U-shaped dinette that converts to a double berth. Opposite on the port side is a settee single berth. All the way forward is a private V-berth with Froli springs, storage, bureau and shelves. Teak and Holly sole, lots of storage, and just aft of the forward cabin is the head with a hanging locker opposite on the port side.
She has a large cockpit 8 feet with large storage lockers, 3 water tanks 80 gal and 20 gal diesel fuel tank. LOA 33 ft 3 in Beam 10 ft 0 in LWL 27 ft 6 in Maximum Draft 4 ft 6 inch, Displacement 12800 lbs Dry Load Ballast 4500 lbs Dry Weight 12800 lbs.
