Boat Location: St. Petersburg, Florida.
NEW RADAR.
Sabre the Moment is a 1976 Sabre 28 out of Havre de Grace Maryland. She is turnkey ready and fully functional. The Sabre 28 is a very solid pocket cruiser. (See review at Wavetrain.net).
This boat has a long and impressive list of upgrades including all new electronics. During 2017 she received a new EV100 wheel pilot, new radar, new chart plotter and new AIS, all professionally installed.
* * * Within the last five years a Westerbeke diesel was professionally installed to replace the old atomic 4 gas engine, and the standing rigging was replaced.
* * * A huge bonus with this boat is that the new owner will have the option to be able to keep the boat in its current rented slip at the Pasadena Marina. This is one of the finest little marinas in all of Florida. With good slips hard to find, this could be very beneficial. * * * The boat comes with a 406 HMz EPIRB, 2 winch handles, 2 anchors and 2 rodes (The new anchor is a Lewmar 14 pound plow with 150 foot rode including a 15 foot chain - Dec 2017), and a Raymarine ST 40 Bidata system. I am also including an AC/Heater that has not been installed. Sabres are rare in Florida, but its 310 shoal draft makes it the perfect coastal sailboat, especially for the enjoying Florida keys and for coastal cruising. Health issues prompting sale. Priced to sell quickly! This boat is ready to cruise!!!
Lots of recent upgrades:

So here is what she needs: just a little TLC - the bathroom faucet/hand pump does not work, the Raymarine ST 40 Bidata speed sensor is not working (speed wheel probably damaged during hull cleaning, the new Lowrance chart plotter is now being used for speed data) but depth sensor does work. The old Raymarine 750 color chart plotter turns on but cant get a fix (may be the antenna, now using the new Lowrance chart plotter for GPS and navigation instead), the sliding companion way hatch cover has a crack does not leak, the tail of wind indicator on the mast head was broken off by the birds.
